First post of 2018! I'd like to say this will be the beginning of "daily art posts" or some other overly-ambitious New Year's goal - but it never works out that way. I will just continue to post sketches as I'm happy enough with them to show. Maybe this year I'll finally get a proper website back online too? Hmm...

Regardless, much of my end of 2017 Holiday break was spent playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Switch with Jamie and my son, Ethan. The game has captured my imagination and attention like only a great Zelda game can - not since The Wind Waker have I been so taken with a video game. The visual design is stunning and the game design and mechanics are almost flawless. So much to do in the game that I often find myself lost in side-tracking for hours.

Also a plus is the fact that the Nintendo Switch is the best game system to be released in years!
